This page explains information handling, language display, Cloudflare delivery and measurement, and our plans for advertising.

Scope and current operation
This policy applies to information handling on 教えてお侍さん！. The site has no registration, comments, purchasing, booking, or contact forms, and no fields for sending names, addresses, or email addresses.
The absence of forms does not mean that no technical information is processed when you connect. External providers apply their own policies.
Display language and site search
Japanese / English display is determined by the page URL you open. We do not use cookies or localStorage to save a language preference. Use the Japanese / English links on each page to change language.
A language setting saved by an older version may remain in your browser. The current site does not read, write, or automatically delete that setting. You can remove it by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser settings.
Site search filters articles in your browser. The site does not send search terms to the operator.
Website delivery and security
The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When you connect, technical information such as IP addresses, access times, requested pages, and browser or device details may be processed for delivery, troubleshooting, and protection against unauthorized access.
Cloudflare Network Error Logging (NEL) is also used to diagnose connection problems. Supported browsers may send Cloudflare diagnostic information such as the requested URL, network error type, and elapsed connection time. This is a network troubleshooting mechanism, separate from the usage and page-performance measurement described below.
The information processed by the hosting provider, retention periods, and processing countries or regions depend on the features and provider’s operations. The operator’s access to this information also depends on configuration. See Cloudflare’s policy for details.
Usage and page-performance measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to understand usage and page performance. A measurement script loaded with the page sends Cloudflare information such as the page viewed, referrer, browser and device type, and page-load timing to produce statistics and performance metrics.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for measurement and does not fingerprint individuals for identification or tracking. This describes the Web Analytics measurement method; technical information is still processed to deliver and secure the site.
Measurement coverage and available statistics depend on Cloudflare features and settings and browser behavior. See Cloudflare’s explanations below for collection details and how the service works.
Advertising and cookies
We plan to introduce banner advertising, including Google AdSense, and affiliate links. Advertising scripts and affiliate links are not currently installed. We do not serve a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement tag or send data to GA4. Current usage and page-performance measurement uses Cloudflare Web Analytics as described above.
If Google AdSense is introduced, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to display ads based on previous visits to this site or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on browsing history.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through Ads Settings and restrict or delete cookies in your browser. When advertising or affiliate services are selected, we will update this page with the providers, information used, purposes, and available controls.

External websites apply their own privacy policies. Please review their information before making a booking or purchase.
Updates to this policy
Before introducing new features, advertising, or analytics, we will review the providers, information transmitted, purposes, and controls, and update this policy before they go into operation. Where applicable law or the service’s terms require consent, a mechanism to obtain the necessary consent will be in place before the relevant processing begins.
Principles for using information
Where the operator handles information, it is used for necessary purposes such as delivering the site, displaying the selected language, understanding usage and page performance, security, and troubleshooting. We do not collect unnecessary personal information or use personal information for sale.
Use for other purposes and disclosure to third parties will follow applicable law, including where legal obligations or lawful requests require action. Processing by service providers or advertising vendors will be described according to the actual configuration.
Your rights and changes to this policy
This policy does not restrict your rights under applicable law. You can remove or restrict browser-stored information through browser settings and manage external service settings through the provider’s controls.
We will update this page when features or services change. Merely reading this policy or using the site is not treated as a substitute for any separate consent required by law.
